4825型モーダル加振器を駆動するために特別に設計されたこのアンプは、RMS出力電流の上限を調整できるため、低出力の加振器にも対応できます。

2720型はフル稼働時で40 Hzから15 kHz、能力を落とした場合はDCから150 kHzまで使用可能です。最大電圧利得は25 dBです
。
被検査物とシステムの両方を保護するため、点灯インジケータを備えたさまざまな警告・安全回路を内蔵しています。多機能LCDディスプレイは出力電流と電圧を表示します。LED信号がアンプの状態を表示し、歪みや温度、電流の過負荷を警告します。

さらなる保護は、操作中に電圧モードと電流モードを切り替えた場合に入力を切断するインターロック・リレーによって提供されます。
このアンプは、出力インピーダンスが低く、電圧周波数特性がフラットな電圧発生器として使用できます。また、高い出力インピーダンスとフラットな電流周波数特性を持つ電流発生器としても使用できます。
