nCode 2026.0 is now available

The release of  nCode 2026.0 brings improvements in functionality and performance for  nCode DesignLife, nCode GlyphWorks and nCode VibeSys  software products.  This update introduces multi-temperature fatigue analysis, enhanced cycle-by-cycle temperature tracking, support for the latest vibration (shock) standards, new waveform generation options, and broader compatibility with modern FE result file formats - helping engineers achieve greater accuracy, efficiency, and confidence in their analysis and simulation work.

Characterising the dynamics of components with ease

Modal Analysis is a specialised product option for VibeSys for characterising the dynamics of a machine or structure in terms of its dynamic properties. It enables engineers to determine modal frequencies, modal damping ratios, and mode shapes at a specific frequency. FE results may be validated by comparing modal frequencies to mode shapes with experiemental tests to achieve high quality results prior to physical testing.

Vibration Profile Design provides the ability to create accelerated shaker tests based on equivalence of fatigue damage or shock. It provides a documented, repeatable process for developing vibration profiles from time histories, PSDs or a mix of both before physical parts are made, saving both time and money in environmental qualification and product validation.
