High‑performance measurement technology

The MX840B captures high‑resolution, synchronized measurement data across all channels using a 24‑bit converter paired with flexible sample rates up to 40 kS/s. Each channel automatically detects the connected sensor via TEDS, configures itself, and applies the appropriate filtering and scaling.

Typical applications

The MX840B is the ideal choice for fast‑changing or complex measurement tasks across industries:

  • Component and system test stands
  • Mobile data acquisition in vehicles or machinery
  • Service and field diagnostics
  • Monitoring of mechanical, electrical, and thermal parameters
  • R&D and multi‑sensor experiments requiring rapid setup and high accuracy

True ‘plug & measure’ capability

With galvanic isolation and patented internal calibration, the MX840B ensures stable, low‑noise measurements across a broad range of sensor types – making it a versatile, plug‑and‑measure solution for precise, reliable data acquisition in any test environment.

As part of the flexible QuantumX modular data acquisition platform, a MX840B system scales quickly and easily into a distributed system with synchronized measurements provided by FireWire and Ethernet PTPv2 support.

When you add in catman® software for data recording and data analysis, you achieve a true plug‑and‑measure setup where torque, force, pressure data can be immediately visualized, stored or digitally forwarded.
