MX840B
An 8‑channel universal amplifier that supports sensors and transducers based on 17 different sensor technologies for a truly versatile multi-physics mechanical and structural measurement system.
The MX840B is a compact, 8‑channel universal amplifier engineered for fast, precise, and highly flexible data acquisition. With support for 17 sensor technologies and robust 24‑bit measurement performance, the MX840B delivers reliable results from laboratory test benches to demanding field environments.
See the MX840B datasheet for a full list of features and specifications.
The MX840B captures high‑resolution, synchronized measurement data across all channels using a 24‑bit converter paired with flexible sample rates up to 40 kS/s. Each channel automatically detects the connected sensor via TEDS, configures itself, and applies the appropriate filtering and scaling.
The MX840B is the ideal choice for fast‑changing or complex measurement tasks across industries:
With galvanic isolation and patented internal calibration, the MX840B ensures stable, low‑noise measurements across a broad range of sensor types – making it a versatile, plug‑and‑measure solution for precise, reliable data acquisition in any test environment.
As part of the flexible QuantumX modular data acquisition platform, a MX840B system scales quickly and easily into a distributed system with synchronized measurements provided by FireWire and Ethernet PTPv2 support.
When you add in catman® software for data recording and data analysis, you achieve a true plug‑and‑measure setup where torque, force, pressure data can be immediately visualized, stored or digitally forwarded.
MX840 can be purchased either stand-alone or as part of a software/hardware bundle:
