Fusion-LN and LAN-XI Firmware Downloads

There are three ways to download and install firmware to your Fusion-LN/LAN-XI modules.

Select one of the applications below:

1) Module web page (one module/frame at a time):

Download the binary Firmware.lxi file to any location on your PC
Using a web-browser, access the homepage on your module (for a frame – use the leftmost module)
Go to the "Firmware" page and follow the instructions

2) PULSE Front-end Setup Program (several modules/frames at a time):

In this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bruel and Kjaer\PULSE\IdaSW\PromUpdate
a. Rename existing Firmware.lxi file, to e.g “OldFirmware.lxi”.
b. Download the new Firmware.lxi file into the folder
Start the PULSE Front-end Setup program
a. Go to the “Firmware” tab and ensure that the downloaded firmware is listed.
Press “Start Update” and follow the instructions.

3) BK Connect Front-end Setup Program (several modules/frames at a time):

In this folder: C:\Program Files\Bruel and Kjaer\BK Connect\IdaSW\PromUpdate
a. Rename existing Firmware.lxi file, to e.g “OldFirmware.lxi”.
b. Download the new Firmware.lxi file into the folder.
Start the BK Connect Front-end Setup program
a. Go to “Firmware” tab and ensure that the downloaded firmware is listed.
Press “Start Update” and follow the instructions.

Note: After updating the firmware, the module will be rebooted. Once the module is ready, please make sure to verify the newly installed firmware version.
