The MXFS DI brings next‑generation fiber‑optic sensing to your test setup, with advanced fiber Bragg grating technology that supports optical sensors and transducers to measure strain, force, temperature, acceleration, tilt or displacement. With up to 128 simultaneous measurement channels per module and high‑speed acquisition options, the MXFS DI is ideal for accurate, electromagnetic‑immune monitoring in demanding environments.

MXFS DI BraggMETER module is an optical interrogator that enables up to 16 FBG sensors to be connected in series to each of its eight optical connectors – with parallel acquisition.
With proven continuous swept laser scanning technology, continuous calibration, high dynamic range and output power, plus SPD technology that assures high resolution even with long fiber leads and lossy connections, MXFS DI combines precision and performance with low costs per measuring point thanks to its high sensor density and efficient distributed sensing architecture.

MXFS DI is based on the QuantumX platform and is completely compatible with other modules in the QuantumX modular family allowing you to use other type of sensors in the same sensing network, as well as the generation of analog/digital control signals and the use of most common industrial protocols. System integration is effortless with synchronized measurements provided by FireWire and Ethernet PTPv2 support. Then when you apply the included catman® Easy software for data recording and data visualization, you achieve a true plug‑and‑measure setup where data can be immediately visualized, stored or digitally forwarded.
All QuantumX modules are delivered with the latest firmware. For existing modules, it is easy to update the firmware by simply downloading the latest firmware package.
HBK also provides both native and third-party software packages and drivers allowing you to fully leverage the QuantumX ‘open’ data acquisition infrastructure for integration with a great number of operating, analysis and automation software. This includes:
