Advanced Strain Gauge Measurements

This is an advanced hardware+software package for strain gauge measurements with convenient channel parameterization using TEDS (or the sensor database), measurement parameterization, individual data visualization, multi data recorders, video recording, data storage, cloud integration, navigational/map-based analytics and reporting.

The package includes: QuantumX MX1615B strain gauge bridge amplifier, power supply, 16 transducer plugs, Ethernet cross­over cable, catman® AP software and software maintenance for the first 12 months.

Ready for any system architecture

You can achieve real-time system integration via Ethernet using QuantumX Gateway module CX27C, connect to CAN using the QuantumX CAN FD bus module MX471C, or provide voltage output using the QuantumX Analog Voltage module MX878B. catman AP software combines perfectly with HBK sensors and QuantumX hardware, allowing you to go from sensor to the software and simply ‘plug and measure’.

The QuantumX family has two similar 16-channel strain gauge bridge amplifiers:

  • MX1615B with a 120 Ω or 350 Ω quarter‑bridge completion
  • MX1616B with a 350 Ω or 1000 Ω quarter‑bridge completion

Each can be purchased stand-alone or part of a software/hardware bundle.
