MX878B
High‑performance outputs for real-time data acquisition. This output module delivers accurate analog signals for demanding structural and mechanical test applications.
MX878B is an eight‑channel analog voltage output module designed for dynamic testing and test bench integration. It converts measured values and calculated results from your QuantumX system into precise ±10 V output signals, enabling realistic stimulus profiles, setpoints, and control interfacing in durability tests and continuous fatigue life investigations. With real-time computations performed directly in the module, MX878B adds real functionality to your test system.
MX878B transforms measured sensor values, such as force, strain, pressure and temperature, directly to a voltage signal. The measurement quantities or signals (CAN) are acquired in real time and sent to MX878B as digital values. They can be, if desired, set off against each other, and then output as analog voltage signal in the range of ±10V.
In the case of durability tests, the measured sensor values can be transformed into proportional output voltages, combined in real time, or fed through PID control to generate load and setpoint profiles.
MX878B integrates into the QuantumX universal data acquisition system providing not only analog voltage outputs but also real-time functions that upgrades connected modules such as Universal Amplifier MX840B. When digital inputs or outputs are required in addition, the Multi I/O Module MX879B can be used. Ethernet with PTP keeps outputs aligned with acquired sensor data, while FireWire provides straightforward expansion for scalable channel counts.
MX878B is supported by HBK catman® Easy/AP software for setup, visualization, and analysis. It also fits into automated environments via support for LabVIEW™, Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET, CANape® and DIAdem.
All QuantumX modules are delivered with the latest firmware. For existing modules, it is easy to update the firmware by simply downloading the latest firmware package.
HBK also provides both native and third-party software packages and drivers allowing you to fully leverage the QuantumX ‘open’ data acquisition infrastructure for integration with a great number of operating, analysis and automation software. This includes:
