MX879B is a multi input/output module that turns your QuantumX setup into an active test and measurement platform. It combines eight configurable analog voltage outputs (±10 V) with 32 digital inputs/outputs, and a function library that offers computation, signal analysis and direct output of loads as stimuli.
With MX879B you not only capture data, but convert strain or force measurements into immediate control voltages, triggering digital outputs when limits are exceeded, or generating repeatable load profiles for endurance testing. Real-time processing and calculations are performed inside the module to keep latency low and behavior predictable. Built for demanding lab, bench, and field environments, MX879B delivers deterministic responses with time-synchronized connectivity.
MX879B integrates seamlessly into a QuantumX modular data acquisition system. Its multi input and output versatility upgrades the platform’s universal measurement modules with useful functions. Ethernet with PTP provides synchronized timing, while FireWire ports enable fast module-to-module expansion for scalable system growth.
Combine this with HBK catman® software for parameterization, visualization, and analysis – without programming skills. You can also automate workflows using drivers for National Instruments LabVIEW™ and Microsoft .NET.
All QuantumX modules are delivered with the latest firmware. For existing modules, it is easy to update the firmware by simply downloading the latest firmware package.
HBK also provides both native and third-party software packages and drivers allowing you to fully leverage the QuantumX ‘open’ data acquisition infrastructure for integration with a great number of operating, analysis and automation software. This includes:
