LAN-XI 3056 – 4-channel Input / High-speed Tacho + 8-channel Auxiliary Module

LAN‑XI 3056 combines four DC to 51.2 kHz input channels for dynamic signals with eight simultaneously sampled low‑frequency auxiliary channels, enabling you to capture vibration, acoustics, and auxiliary process signals in a single, synchronized module.

Unique to this model, the four input channels support high‑speed tacho inputs, making it easy to record encoder/tachometer signals for angle domain analysis and rotational studies.

Part of the LAN‑XI system, 3056 works as a stand‑alone unit, collected with other modules in a frame, or as part of a distributed data acquisition system, ensuring seamless scale‑up within the modular DAQ system for multi‑channel measurements.

Why test teams choose LAN-XI 3056

  • All-in-one capture: 4 × dynamic inputs (to 51.2 kHz) + 8 × low‑frequency auxiliary channels for comprehensive test coverage in labs, production lines, and the field.
  • Rotating machinery ready: High‑speed tacho on input channels supports angle domain analysis for engines, drivetrains, and end‑of‑line QC.
  • Production-friendly control: Four programmable DC outputs enable simple pass/fail automation and on/off control of third‑party equipment.
  • Signal integrity by design: HBK's Dyn‑X and REq‑X technologies, extremely low noise floor, out‑of‑band overload detection, and TEDS support help maintain accuracy and reduce setup errors.
  • Transducer flexibility: Interchangeable front panels support microphones (0/200 V polarization), IEPE/CCLD, accelerometers, proximity probes, and more.
  • Magnesium construction: LAN-XI DAQ modules are lightweight and rugged, suitable for use in the lab or in the field.
  • Scalable architecture: Use as a single module, in multi‑module frames, or across distributed systems with PTP (precision time protocol) and/or GPS synchronization on the LAN‑XI platform.
  • Programmable via LAN‑XI Open API: Integrate with third‑party or custom software.
  • Compatibility with Fusion-LN: Combine LAN-XI and Fusion-LN hardware in the same LAN-XI frame or in the same distributed system.

Typical applications

  • General sound and vibration measurements in R&D and production.
  • Angle domain analysis for engines, gearboxes, e‑motors, and rotating assets.
  • Engine test cells and QC/End-of-line tests requiring auxiliary sensors and tachometer inputs.
  • Pass/fail monitoring and simple line control via programmable DC outputs.
  • Single-module, multi-module, and distributed LAN‑XI setups – including wired and wireless data transfer as well as stand-alone recording to a memory card.

Easily integrates into your workflow

LAN-XI 3056 operates as a front end for PULSE™ LabShop, BK Connect® and Tescia® software solutions and connects into LAN‑XI frames for higher channel counts – delivering a unified path from quick diagnostics to large‑scale, synchronized testing.
