CX22B-W – Ideal for Mobile Data Acquisition

CX22B-W wireless LAN (WLAN) functionality makes it ideally suited to be used in mobile data acquisition for road load data acquisition or ride and handling tests. You can connect QuantumX modules, video cameras, GPS or inertial systems (IMU) to collect, analyze, and store mechanical, electrical, or thermal measurement quantities as well as the signals from the vehicle bus, cameras, wheel force sensors, or GPS directly to the module.

With its versatile interface and test automation options, it is also a reliable stand-alone data recorder for unmonitored long-term measurements (such as on bridges and other structures) with virtually any number of channels.

Universal data recording – anywhere

CX22B-W provides absolute reliability when it comes to storing your measured data. With a high sampling rate of 5 MS/s, sequential recording configurations and deep memory, CX22B is stable, even in the event of sudden interruptions. Built-in alarms and logging help you detect limit violations immediately, while secure storage ensures your measurement history remains intact for traceability.

The data recorder’s powerful online computation of signals allows you to perform functions such as scientific calculator, matrix calculation, counting (rainflow, time-at-level, etc.), frequency analysis (FFT and trigger) and calculation of electric power. You now have the ability to draw the right conclusions immediately in the field – no waiting until you get back to the lab.

Incredibly flexible system integration

The CX22B-W is engineered for the QuantumX modular data acquisition system, supporting centralized or distributed topologies, up to 1000 channels and wireless network access for configuration and data download. You can connect QuantumX modules to measure strain, force, acceleration, temperature, voltage, current, and more, then compute derived quantities directly in the recorder. In addition, you can connect CX22B-W with your Somat^XR measurement system for steady data recording in truly harsh environments.

To record CANbus data, connect the module to the QuantumX MX840B CAN FD measurement module or a Somat^XR CX471C measurement module.

The module can be accessed in a variety of ways including connection to a touchscreen, tablet or even encrypted remote access over the mobile network. For wired access, use the standard data recorder module CX22B. Then with the pre-installed catmanEasy software, parameterization, visualization and analysis is easy – with or without programming skills. You can also automate workflows using drivers for National Instruments LabVIEW™ and Microsoft .NET.

Stay connected with the latest firmware and software

All QuantumX modules are delivered with the latest firmware. For existing modules, it is easy to update the firmware by simply downloading the latest firmware package.

HBK also provides both native and third-party software packages and drivers allowing you to fully leverage the QuantumX ‘open’ data acquisition infrastructure for integration with a great number of operating, analysis and automation software. This includes:
