newLight FS66HDA Heavy Duty Accelerometer for Pantographs

The FS65HDL Heavy Duty Accelerometer  is a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) based single axis vibration sensor, designed to be used under harsh environments, in particular on railway applications.

It is part of the newLight optical sensor line, ready to measure thermally compensated vibrations up to 200Hz. The sensor is part of HBK's Optical Pantograph and Overhead Power Lines Measurement System.

 

Safe

  • Fully passive sensor, based on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) Technology.

Effective even under high voltage of the pantograph.

  • Ruggedized packing, railway rated cablings and optical connectors.

Highly sensitive

  • Linear sensitivity and thermally compensated with the use of two FBG in an push-pull configuration.
