The T40FM is a high‑capacity torque flange, with a rugged design and magneto‑resistive speed detection, is engineered for demanding testbench applications.
The T40FM torque flange delivers precise, high‑speed dynamic torque measurement from 15 to 80 kN·m, making it an ideal solution for engine and transmission testing. Combining outstanding accuracy with a rugged design, T40FM offers an excellent price‑to‑performance ratio for both production and test bench applications.
With an HBK accuracy class of 0.05, the T40FM provides exceptional measurement accuracy, low hysteresis, and excellent linearity. Its high torsional stiffness, large bandwidth up to 6 kHz, and fast sample rate of 38.125 kS/s ensure reliable capture of highly dynamic torque signals, even at rotational speeds of up to 8,000 rpm.
The T40FM features a rugged, temperature‑stable design that delivers consistent performance in challenging environments. A magneto‑resistive rotational speed sensor, insensitive to oil and dust, ensures reliable speed measurement and long‑term operational stability in demanding test setups.
A wide selection of measuring ranges, extensive accessories, and proven HBK technology make the T40FM a flexible and future‑proof torque measurement solution. Whether in R&D, production testing, or durability validation, T40FM delivers reliable results where dynamic performance matters most.
Thanks to its short design and support for both analog and digital interfaces – including Profibus‑DP, CAN, EtherCAT, and PROFINET – the T40FM integrates quickly into a wide variety of test benches. With the same dimensions as our legacy T10FM torque flange, the T40FM enables you to easily upgrade to the latest technology without mechanical redesign.
