TB1A is a low profile, highly rigid reference torque measuring disc, for use in small spaces. Its ideal for calibration, laboratory use and production environments.

The TB1A reference torque transducer is very flat with a maximum width (depending on the measuring range) of 69 millimeters and is, therefore, ideally suited for torque measurements in restricted space. In addition, the drive shafts can lead axially through the torque sensor, thanks to the central bore. Owing to its flat design, the TB1A has a very high stiffness in all directions and is the compact alternative to the extremely precise reference torque transducer TB2.
The TB1A is ideal for applications with inline drive shafts, with a highly rigid, flat measuring body that ensures minimal deformation under applied torque. The measuring structure uses advanced strain‑gauge technology to convert torsional strain into a highly accurate electrical signal.
With a HBK‑level accuracy up to 0.05%, high stiffness, and a central bore for axial shaft routing, the TB1A delivers uncompromising precision even under demanding conditions.
