Composite Strain Sensor for more than just composite

The Composite Strain Sensor is ideal for bonding to various surfaces, including heterogeneous materials such as concrete and composites. It provides a measurement range of ±5,000 µm/m and outstanding fatigue resistance. Available with aramid cables for dielectric requirements, as commonly used in wind turbines, or armored cables for harsh environments like civil structure monitoring. Combine with the matching temperature sensor for compensation and use protective accessories to extend service life.

Versatility

Adheres to all surfaces, including heterogeneous materials like concrete and composites, outperforming conventional electrical strain gauges that require uniform substrates.

Durability

Exceptional fatigue resistance and long-term stability, even in harsh environments, thanks to aramid or armored cable options—superior to most FBG competitors with limited ruggedness.

Reliability

Immune to electromagnetic interference and environmental noise, ensuring accurate measurements where traditional sensors fail.
