U10F Tensile-Compressive Force Transducer: Capacities from 50 kN to 1.25 MN

Like the proven U10M and C10 transducers, the especially low-profile force transducers of the U10F series use the shear force transducer measurement principle to enable them to achieve the same outstanding accuracy and small deflection as their sister models. This makes the U10F load cells suitable for acquiring fast, dynamic force trends and static forces.

The sensors are hermetically welded and made of stainless steel. The installation process is significantly facilitated by flange connections on both sides, in comparison to sensors with central threads. To facilitate this process, HBK offers screw sets with a coated finish for corrosion protection. The coating also ensures a uniform and low coefficient of friction, eliminating the need for greasing or oiling of the screws.

Various practical configurations allow the U10F, like its sister models (the U10M and C10), to be adapted flexibly to suit different measurement tasks.

New: With the new option "VAIO", the U10F comes along with an integrated digital amplifier. Your advantages:

  • Greater precision: Linearity error 0.005 % for capacities up to 250 kN, higher capacities improved to 0.03 %. TC0: 0.006 %/ 10 K.
  • Improved reliability: The Sensor Health monitoring of the U10F sends warnings in case of exceeding temperature or mechanical limits before problems occur.
  • More information: Temperature measurement, statistical information.
  • Lower costs, easy setup: The U10F with the VAIO option comes along as adjusted sensor: No more complicated or time consuming setups. Immediately upon connection of the U10F to an IO-Link master, precise readings in Newton are obtained. Low cabling costs. 
  • Standard features: Limit switches, peak detection, digital output, filter.
  • Fast: Internal sampling rate: 40 kHz, 1 ms cycling time to the IO-Link master.
