Connecting physical and virtual testing in aerospace structural integrity

The process of developing durable aerospace products has changed over the years.  Traditional design practices have relied heavily upon designing parts, producing prototypes, and then physically testing them to prove or improve structural integrity.  This 'build-test-break' loop presents challenges to program cost and timing.

The addition of CAE-based structural simulation to physical testing can yield benefits in reduced risk of failure and improved time to market.  CAE software's predictive powers allow engineers to accelerate development by assessing and optimizing designs in the world of the digital twin.  Correlation between test and CAE is critical to gain confidence and leverage CAE's strengths.

This webinar will investigate HBK's solutions in the aerospace product development space: preliminary design, virtual test and simulation, validation testing, and correlation.
