Our online training is a hands-on, interactive learning experience. Due to the in-depth nature of the course, you will need nCode software installed and licensed on the computer.

Below, we have provided information and instructions for obtaining and installing a temporary license file for nCode software.

Please note: Temporary licenses will be distributed in the week prior to your online training.

Step 1: Identify your HostID (MAC address)

In order to provide a temporary license we will need the HostID (MAC or Ethernet address) of the computer you will be using for the online training course. Your current nCode installation includes the HBM Prenscia Licensing Administration Tool. You may launch that from the HBM Prenscia Licensing folder on your start menu. You may also run licadmin.exe directly from the \bin directory of your current HBM Prenscia Licensing installation. The default installation path is “C:\Program Files\HBM Prenscia\Licensing\bin.”

If you do not currently have an nCode product installed, you may obtain your system HostID from a command prompt. Start by opening a command prompt. Type the following command at the prompt:

ipconfig –all > ncode_hostid.txt

This will create a text file called ncode_hostid.txt into the location where this command was launched.

Step 2: Enter your HostID and Contact Information

Once the Host ID’s are displayed simply hit the button and paste the system details into the form below along with your contact information so the nCode license can be created for you.

Step 3: Install your Temporary nCode License

The week before your online training course, you will receive a temporary nCode license with a .lic file extension. To install the license, launch the HBM Prenscia Licensing Administration Tool and hit the button.

Hit the button and browse to your new temporary license file.

Hit the button and exit the HBM Prenscia Licensing Administration Tool.

If you need any assistance or have questions regarding your nCode software or license installation please call the nCode Support Hotline at +1 248 340 3472 or +44 (0) 114 551 2231 or email [email protected].

Hit the button and browse to your new temporary license file.

Hit the button and exit the HBM Prenscia Licensing Administration Tool.
