BK Connect 2023.1 and PULSE 27.1 updates

FAST TRACK:

This version of the software is a fast-track revision, which was created to resolve some issues that required immediate attention and may have affected the user experience.

Bug fixes BK CONNECT

 

In BK Connect Data Processing

  • In the sound quality elements of the Process Chain, pure tones are now detected correctly. (BKCCRM-1124)

  • When exporting to UFF, very low values display as they should. (BKCCRM-817)

 

In BK Connect Modal Analysis

  • The properties for Residue Type in the Parameter Estimation Setup task and the Mode Selection task are now in sync. (BKCCRM- 1032)

  • Selecting and deselecting modes in the mode table in the Mode Selection task after you open a saved project is fixed. (BKCCRM-1113)

 

In BK Connect Structural Measurements

  • Now possible to apply acoustic weighting filtering on sound pressure signals in Hammer Setup and Measurement, Shaker Setup and Measurement and Standard Measurement tasks. The same functionality has also been implemented in the FFT System processing element in Data Processing's Process Chain. (BKCCRM-989)

  • There is improved uEye camera support (BKCCRM-1052)

Bug fixes PULSE

 

PULSE LabShop

  • GCX display legend scrolling (when positioned to the right of graph) has been fixed to scroll up/down correctly. (LAB-6488)

 

PULSE Front-end Setup

  • The Stability report has been improved, both when reports are generated and the report format. (LAB-6536)

TROUBLESHOOTING:

To possibly resolve synchronization and lost connection problems to your front end, edit your PC network adaptor's buffer size.

  1. Go to the Device Manager.
  2. Look for any Realtek® network adaptor, such as those from Intel®.
  3. For each Realtek network adaptor, open its properties – typically by right-clicking.
  4. On the General tab, click Change Settings.
  5. Go to the Advanced tab, and select Receive Buffers.
  6. Change the Value to 256.
  7. Click OK.
