Outdoor Microphone Type 4198 meets requirements in accordance with IEC 61672 Class 1 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 specifications. It is designed with a built in preamplifier, and is intended for semi-permanent, unsupervised outdoor installation.

Both the unit and the kit enable you to make measurements that are protected against the effects of wind, rain, and perching birds.
