The K-WA is inductive displacement measurement in a compact design in plunger or probe type - ready to be configured in accordance with your needs

Find bellow some explanations to our options.

Version

The standard version of the WA is supplied in either detachable plunger version (L) or displacement probe version (T). The transducers are also adapted for high or low temperature conditions.

  • L = Detachable plunger, standard version
  • M = Detachable plunger, high temperature version up to max. 150 °C
  • T = Displacement probe, standard version
  • U = Displacement probe, high temperature version up to max. 150 °C
  • X = Displacement probe, low temperature version for -40 °C … 125 °C

Measuring range

The WA is available in five different measuring ranges: 0...2 mm (002W), 0...10 mm (010W), 0...20 mm (020W), 0...50 mm (050W) and 0...100 mm (100W).

The WA in probe type has three additional measuring ranges: 0...200 mm (200W), 0...300 mm (300W) and 0...500 mm (500W).

Type of connection at the transducer

The WA is supplied as standard with a 90° cable with IP67 protection (32K). On request, we can mount one of the following connectors to the transducer:

  • 31K = Pressure-resistant, M20x1.5 + fixed cable, IP67
  • 32K =  90°, fixed cable, IP67
  • 33K = 0°, fixed cable, IP67
  • 31S = Pressure-resistant, M20x1.5 + LEMO plug connection
  • 32S = 90°, LEMO male connector
  • 33S = 0°, LEMO male connector

Cable type

The standard version is PVC cable (SD). For high or low temperature versions, PTFE cable (max. 150 °C) is supplied (HT).

Cable ends

The WA is supplied as standard with a mounted cable with free ends (F1). All other cable ends can only be supplied if a rated output of 80 mV/V full bridge circuit is ordered.

  • D1 = DB-15P male connector
  • D2 = DB-15P male connector with TEDS
  • F1 = Free ends
  • M1 = MS 3106PEMV male connector
  • M2 = MS male connector with TEDS
  • Q1 = Sub-HD male connector
  • Q2 = Sub-HD male connector with TEDS

Non-linearity

Non-linearity options of 0.2 % (2) or 0.1 % (1) are available for the transducers.

NOTE: The 0.1 % non-linearity cannot be combined with the 0…10 mm measuring range and the 0.5...10 V rated output of the WA electronics.

Rated output

A rated output of 80 mV/V full bridge circuit is supplied as standard (8). An output of 0.5…10 V via WA electronics is only available if a transducer with a cable with free ends is ordered (2). If a non-linearity of 0.2 % is selected in addition to a free end cable, a PVC cable to the evaluator will be mounted to the transducer.

Cable length at transducer

The transducer is available with the following cable lengths: 3 m (3.00), 6 m (6.00), 10 m (10.00) and 20 m (20.00).

Cable length at WA electronics

The transducer with WA electronics is available with the following cable lengths: 1 m (1.00), 3 m (3.00), 6 m (6.00) and 10 m (10.00).
