Remote data accessUtilising the MP85ADP gave Orwin several advantages including the data export function which enabled data to be saved to a remote server. This meant that Orwin’s customer could easily and remotely access data on all parts that had previously been through the machine.
An important feature of the MP85ADP is that it enables Orwin to benefit from a barcode feature that gives complete traceability of components. This feature was particularly important on this contract because the client’s specifications stated that accounting for individual parts was an essential requirement.
An added bonus was that the MP85ADP can be easily integrated into a range of machines and it is easy to set-up. Orwin comments, “We know from previous contracts with HBM that their products are reliable and easy to use as well as backed by a strong support system following product delivery."
Although the machine is capable of change part tooling, it is primarily used to produce two crimping variants, a right- and a left-hand, both equal in size. Orwin’s customer benefited because the machine can be used to produce additional variations if needed.
