Improved Accuracy of Weld Fatigue Analysis using WholeLife

WholeLife, a new product option available in nCode 2018, offers a unified approach for modelling fatigue over the entire lifetime of a component. The implemented approach is ideally suited the analysis of thick weld sections where the correlation between test and prediction is often difficult to achieve using the current SN approaches. This method will also be applicable to light-weight automotive and aerospace components such as riveted joints. This 45-minute webinar provides an introduction to the new product and demonstrates how it is used to calculate the whole life of a welded structure.
