Miniature hydrophone Type 8103 is a small, high-sensitivity hydrophone for absolute sound measurements over the frequency range 0.1Hz to 180 kHz, with a receiving sensitivity of −211 dB re 1V/μPa. The high sensitivity and good all-round characteristics, make it ideal for laboratory, industrial, and educational use.
The high-frequency response of this hydrophone becomes especially valuable when making acoustic investigations of marine animals, and for measuring pressure-distribution patterns in ultrasonic-cleaning baths.
