Electrification Meets Ground Vibration Testing

As presented in How Electrification has Changed Aircraft Testing, new aircraft powered by distributed electric propulsion systems face new challenges to ensure that their designs are safe and efficient. Changes to the size, number and location of the propulsion units on the aircraft lead to new design architectures that require additional testing.

In this presentation we will provide an in-depth overview including real data points on how factors such as modal, flutter, structural fatigue, motor/inverter characterization can be evaluated using a holistic measurement approach to validate a new aircraft design.

The presentation will feature real-life examples and data.
