Um pequeno transdutor esférico para fazer medições de som absolutas na faixa de frequência de 0,1 Hz a 160 kHz com uma sensibilidade de recepção de −205 dB re 1V/μPa. É robusto, capaz de suportar pressões de até 107 Pa (100 atm.; 1000 m (3250 pés) de profundidade oceânica).

Este hidrofone possui excelentes características direcionais: a 100 kHz, é omnidirecional em 360° no plano x-y (radial) e 270° no plano x-z (axial).
