Differential Charge Input for LAN‑XI 3057 Bridge Module

Designed for use with the LAN‑XI 3057 Bridge Module, UA‑3121‑030 provides three input channels with buffered monitor outputs in parallel. Per channel, it offers a 15‑pin D‑sub for bridge sensor input, two 10‑32 UNF connectors for differential or non-differential charge input (configured in the analysis software), and an SMB monitor output. The D‑sub interface supports custom bridge completion resistor configurations at the cable plug. Only one input type (bridge or charge) is used per channel at a time.

Key benefits

  • Seamless integration with LAN‑XI 3057 Bridge Input Module (purpose-built front panel)
  • Flexible per-channel connectivity: bridge transducer (15‑pin D‑sub) or differential charge input (10-32 UNF)
  • Buffered monitor outputs in parallel for quick signal verification and troubleshooting
  • Simpler bridge-sensor cabling with D‑sub connectors and clear per-channel wiring
  • Custom bridge completion at the cable plug (configure completion resistors directly on the D‑sub cable)
  • Supports the use of sensors with high EMI immunity which are well-suited to difficult environments
  • Faster diagnostics with LED status indicators (input/output, overload, cable break)

Applications

  • Bridge sensor measurements
  • General sound and vibrations measurements
  • Measurements in difficult environments or where good ground connections are difficult to achieve

DAQ module compatibility

Connectors

3 channels, each with:

  • 1 × 15-pin D-sub (F) for bridge input
  • 2 × 10-32 UNF (F) for charge input (two connectors allows either differential or non-differential)
  • 1 × SMB (jack) for monitor output

Supported signals

Bridge sensor measurements:

  • 1/1, 1/2 and 1/4 bridge strain gauges
  • Strain gauge based sensors (force, mass and torque)
  • Piezoresistive accelerometers and pressure transducers
  • Variable-capacitance accelerometers

Sound and vibrations measurements using:

  • CCLD sensors
  • Direct voltage signals
  • Charge accelerometers
  • Differential charge accelerometers

Notes

  • Only one input type (bridge or charge) is used per channel at a time.
  • CCLD = constant current line drive, also known as DeltaTron® (ICP® and IEPE compatible)
