Create realistic shaker test profiles and visualize data with these GlyphWorks modules

Design accelerated vibration test specifications

Many components are tested using an electrodynamics shaker applying a vibration test spectrum in the frequency domain. This enables a required range of frequencies to be applied to excite resonant conditions. But the challenge remains of how to ensure that the given test profile is representative of the expected real-world environment. The test is only as good as the specification that is used. The Vibration Profile Design product option enables large amounts of real measured data to be converted into a single vibration test specification, which is accelerated and representative of the real loads. This vibration specification can be compared with test profiles from various standards.

Video play and synchronization

Gain insights from data by viewing multiple simultaneous videos in nCode GlyphWorks. Up to 16 videos can be played at a time, synchronized with further Video Players, signals, gauges, or digital readouts.

Quickly process electric motor test data

Accurate electric power assessment is essential for optimizing the motor control and estimating the vehicle range. Once electrical and mechanical channels of motors and inverters have been collected, this high sample rate data can be quickly processed with nCode GlyphWorks to compare powertrain efficiency, validate configurations, and understand vehicle efficiency over time.

nCode GlyphWorks provides PSA Peugeot Citroën with an easy-to-use, standard solution powerful enough to process and manage over 800 gigabytes of data.
“GlyphWorks ensures that tests can be safely run on a test circuit...and can now be completed in 1/3 of the time with greater repeatability, security, safety and accuracy.”
"GlyphWorks provides the full range of tools that handles multiple formats of data files, eliminating the need to convert data from one format to another for use by different tools...”
