Type 4944 is a ¼-inch Prepolarized Pressure-field Microphone designed for high-level and high-frequency measurements over a frequency range of 4 Hz To 70 kHz.

Prepolarized ¼″ Pressure-field Microphone Type 4944 is specially designed for high-level and high-frequency measurements. By using new materials and a new way of mounting the diaphragm, the microphone is geared to withstand rough handling. The assembly of the microphone in a clean room environment ensures that the microphone can be used in high-humidity environments and still produce reliable results. Type 4944 can be used with sound level meters to measure high sound pressure levels

CONCEPTION ET ROBUSTESSE

La forme de la face avant du microphone assure d'excellentes performances lorsqu'il est encastré. Le diaphragme soudé au laser sur le boîtier du microphone garantit une sensibilité résistante aux manipulations brutales lors du montage encastré.

Étalonnage

La sensibilité peut être calibrée à 250 Hz à l'aide d'un Pistonphone Type 4228 avec adaptateur ¼ pouce DP-0775. La réponse du champ de pression peut être mesurée à l'aide de l'actionneur UA-0033 avec l'adaptateur DB-0264. La réponse du champ de pression est égale à la réponse de l'actionneur.
