Eine robuste und stabile Freifeld-Mikrofonkapsel, die für hochpräzise akustische Messungen entwickelt wurde. Der Typ 4966 wurde für Messungen entwickelt und weiterentwickelt, bei denen ein hochempfindliches Mikrofon mit einer vollen 20-kHz-Bandbreite bevorzugt wird, und ist für den Einsatz mit eingebautem Schutzgitter optimiert.

Das Mikrofon Typ 4966 ist vorpolarisiert und eignet sich daher gut für den Einsatz in batteriebetriebenen Geräten und Umgebungen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit.
