HBK combined decades of trusted expertise in the field of road load data acquisition (RLDA) together with a commitment to innovation in order to create Fusion RX. This next-generation DAQ is a gamechanger - providing a mobile testing solution that you can count on when pressure mounts, you have a mix of analog and digital vehicle bus channels, and prototypes are limited. The result is a rugged and scalable solution that empowers engineers with the reliability and flexibility they need to succeed in this demanding test environment. Fusion RX is the ideal testing platform for agricultural, construction, mining, passenger, cargo, and military vehicles - engineered for reliable durability and performance validation across road, off‑road, and rail environments.

Engineered with all connectors on the front panel and a shallower profile than our legacy models, Fusion RX’s design ensures quick and efficient in-vehicle mounting and setup with convenient cable connections and easy operator access.

One system – multiple vehicle testing configurations

Fusion RX can be configured to match different test setups and workflows within vehicle (rail and automotive) testing. Fusion RX stacks can operate either as a:

Gateway that routes analog and digital inputs directly to a PC for live measurement and analysis. Channel setup, test control and analysis can also be managed either via catman^® EASY/AP software or any other software using HBK’s openDAQ technology.
Logger for autonomous data capture with data export to a PC.

In future releases, control and data capture will also be available via the Advantage Connect web interface.

A Fusion RX system supports central or distributed topologies (spot/small or wide) and can be deployed in the future with or without additional satellite DAQ models – perfect in mobile testing applications. Future test configurations include support configurations with other rugged DAQ such as eDAQ^XR, eDAQ^XR-Lite and Somat^XR, as well as test bench configurations together with the QuantumX platform.

Every Fusion RX configuration option responds to the demands of RLDA and vehicle testing, including:

Ensuring vehicles and their components can withstand fatigue
Load testing to provide input for validating simulation models and ensuring durability
Stable long-term testing and monitoring without any user interaction
