The correct use of accelerometers requires consideration of several factors to ensure good measurements. Factors to consider are:

  • Expected vibration level
  • Expected frequency range and required frequency range
  • Dynamic range
  • Noise floor
  • Temperature
  • Is the measurement location constant temperature? Rising or falling?
  • What mounting method can be used?

Once the measurement is complete how should the accelerometer be removed? In this webinar, we will provide answers to these questions.
