The Dytran series 1051 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces up to 5,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with sensitivities ranging from 1-500 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the series 1051V features built-in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
Design of the series 1051V features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 28 grams. Units utilize a 10-32 radial connector and 1/4-28 tapped holes located at both the top and bottom of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.
