The Dytran series 1210C is a ring style piezoelectric charge mode force sensor offered with a sensitivity of 18 pC/lbf and with reliable high temperature operation to +400°F (+204°C). The industry commonly refers to these sensors as "force washers", due to their similar appearance. Units were designed to measure rapid or slowly changing dynamic forces in machinery and in other applications where a thru stud or bolt holds the sensor in place in a preloaded condition.
The 1210C is available with a full scale range up to 100,000 lbf, and features a quartz sensing element operating in compression mode, and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing. Units incorporate a 10-32 radial connector, ø.26 to 1.61 inch thru hole mounting and are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
Dytran series 1210C is a ring style piezoelectric charge mode force sensor used in force link, machinery studies, press monitoring and process control applications.
The 1210C6 is a high temperature, ring style force sensor with a full scale range of 80,000 lbs of compressive forces. It was designed for machinery applications where a bolt holds the unit in a preloaded condition.
