The Dytran series 3049 is a rugged general purpose miniature accelerometer available in charge mode and IEPE versions. Featuring a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a light-weight titanium housing, series 3049 is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. Some of the models in this series are series designed to reliably operate in temperatures up to +350°F (+177°C). This series of piezoelectric accelerometers offer the same high reliability performance with various mounting capabilities.
Dytran series 3049 is a general purpose miniature accelerometer used in general purpose vibration monitoring, modal and structural analysis as well as general purpose high temperature vibration monitoring.
The 3049E is a very lightweight, hermetic, stud mounted, general purpose 500g accelerometer. It was designed for applications in modal analysis and vibration testing of small objects. It is base isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
