The Dytran 5313 series is a triaxial IEPE seat pad accelerometer, designed to be installed between the ride and vehicle seat in transportation-related applications. The 5313 series utilizes an integral 6-foot cable, terminating to (3) BNC plugs or flying leads.
Construction of the Dytran 5313 series consists of a thin rubber cushion containing the model 3143M1 accelerometer. The model 3143M1 is mounted within the rubber housing, or may be used as a stand-alone accelerometer. The 5313 series seat pad accelerometer conforms to ISO 8041, which specifies the performance and tolerance limits for instruments designed to measure vibration values in human vibration response assessments.
