Type 4297
Schallintensitätskalibrator Type 4297 wird zur Schalldruckkalibrierung vor Ort und zur Überprüfung des Druckrestintensitätsindex verwendet.
Das Gerät ist ein vollständiger Schallintensitätskalibrator in einer kompakten, tragbaren Einheit mit eingebauten Schallquellen. Das akustische Feedbacksystem passt sich automatisch an Schwankungen des atmosphärischen Drucks an und erfüllt die Norm IEC 61043.
Mit dem Schallintensitätskalibrator Type 4297 können Instrumente, die die Schallintensität messen, genau kalibriert werden. Es ist für die Verwendung mit den Brüel & Kjær Schallintensitätssonden der Typen 3599 und 3654 mit dem Schallintensitäts-Mikrofonpaar Typ 4197 vorgesehen. Die Mikrofone müssen mit ¼“ -Vorverstärkern verwendet werden.
Der Schallintensitätskalibrator kann zur Kalibrierung der Schalldruckempfindlichkeit verwendet werden. Dazu werden die Mikrofone beide in der Kalibrierkammer positioniert. Die Sonde muss nicht demontiert werden, und beide Mikrofone sind exakt dem gleichen Schalldruck (Amplitude und Phase) ausgesetzt. Ein Barometer ist nicht erforderlich, da ein genaues Feedbacksystem den Schalldruckpegel auf einem konstanten Wert hält.
Die Breitbandschallquelle ist für die Messung des Druckrestintensitätsindexspektrums vorgesehen. Dies wird verwendet, um die Genauigkeit von Schallintensitätsmessungen zu beurteilen.

The most important and unique feature of Type 4297 is that there is no need to dismantle the sound-intensity probe for calibration.
The calibrator is optimised for use with Hand-held Sound Intensity Analyzer Type 2270 G, but it can also be used with sound intensity analysis systems.
A calibration chart is supplied that states the levels that should be detected during calibration.
