ANSYS nCode DesignLife now available in ANSYS 14.0 Workbench

nCode, the leading brand of durability, test and analysis products offered by HBM, announce the release of ANSYS nCode DesignLife in the latest version of ANSYS 14.0 Workbench™, providing an unparalleled combination of ease of use and powerful fatigue analysis for ANSYS users.

ANSYS provides a version of nCode DesignLife™, enabling an advanced set of fatigue capabilities integrated within the ANSYS Workbench™ environment. Results and materials data from simulations within ANSYS Workbench can be directly accessed by DesignLife. DesignLife integrates advanced CAE analysis and signal processing tools within a simple-to-use graphical workflow environment. In addition to the general stress-life and strain-life approaches, DesignLife provides established methods for both spot and seam weld analysis and vibration shaker tests can be directly simulated in the frequency domain. DesignLife efficiently analyze large finite element models and complete usage schedules. It is highly configurable for the expert user including support for Python scripting to enable new or proprietary fatigue methods.

The advanced technology behind ANSYS 14.0 includes hundreds of new, advanced features that make it easier, faster and less costly for organizations to bring new products to market. The framework for the industry's broadest and deepest suite of advanced engineering simulation technology, ANSYS Workbench™, delivers unprecedented productivity.
