U10M Tensile-Compressive Force Transducer: Capacities from 1.25 kN to 2.5 MN

The rotationally symmetric, low-profile U10 force is oustanding precise and made from rustfree materials. U10M load cells are suitable for acquiring fast, dynamic force trends and static forces. HBK offers a wide range of options (Double bridges, TEDS, mechanical adaptations, integrated amplifiers,...) so that a U10 can be adapted to its measurment task.

  • HBK accuracy class:  0.02 ... 0.05
  • Capacities: 1.25 kN ... 2.5 MN
  • Output signals: mV/V (passive, Wheatstone Bridge) and IO-Link

 

New: With the new option "VAIO", the U10M comes along with an integrated digital amplifier. Your advantages:

  • Greater precission: Linearity error 0.005 % for capacities up to 250 kN, higher capacities improved to 0.03 %. TC0: 0.006 %/ 10 K.
  • Improved reliability: The Sensor Health monitoring of the U10M sends warnings in case of exceeding temperature or mechanical limits before problems occur.
  • More information: Temperature measurement, statistical information.
  • Lower costs, easy setup: The U10M with the VAIO option comes along as adjusted sensor: No more complicated or time consuming setups. When connected to an IO-Link master, you will get precise readings in Newton immediately. 
  • Many built in features: Limit switches, peak detection, digital output, filter.
  • Fast: Internal sampling rate: 40 kHz, 1 ms cycling time to the IO-Link master.

  • Benchmark precision.
  • TC0 of 150 ppm/ 10 K or 75 ppm/ 10 K with 200 % calibration. With integrated amplifier: 75 ppm/ 10 K or 60 ppm/ 10 K with 200 % calibration.

  • With integrated instrument: Linearity deviation at the physical limit.

  • Electrical bending moment compensation: Bending (for example resulting from applied lateral forces) does not impact the measurement result.
  • Fit for fatigue tests, peak to peak load of 200 % of nominal force can be applied.

  • EMC approved.
  • With IO-LNK: Sensor Health monitoring warns in case of exceeding mechanical or thermal limits. 

Reliability even in unfavorable measurement conditions (e.g. temperature gradients, parasitic mechanical influences). Improved reliability with built-in amplifier.
