We are happy to announce the release of the BK Connect® 2023 and PULSE™ 27 software platforms. The new release strengthens your measurement process and user-experience with highlights including:

New Features in BK Connect:

General new features

Team Search file import with mapping task has been added
2D Fast Displays can now also be expanded using shift+drag
Improved export to PULSE time file (.pti) to ensure compatibility with PULSE LabShop
Export to Excel is expanded to include metadata on Device under Test, Test and Setup
Improvements to the Metadata Editor
Added functionality to measurement and recording applications such as the ability to annotate metadata to measured data and enabling swept sine waveforms during generator setup

New in BK Connect Data Processing

A new signal filter in the Process Chain allows the selection of individual signals per processing element
All Process Chain elements requiring rpm information can now select rpm profiles as input
Support for time data as input in the Graphical Auto Tracker has been added
Change Assign to Annotate in the Record and Process task

New in BK Connect Hardware Setup

Improvements to handling hardware setups, including a new tool to load setups and enabling export of the setup with the project
The level meter in the Monitor has better multi-channel support, provides better warnings, and improved persistence in display selections
Updates to the transducer database

New in BK Connect Structural Dynamics

Residuals calculated during modal parameter estimation can now be saved in the mode table and used for FRF synthesis
A Condensation Optimization parameter has been added to optimize stability diagram consistency and resolution
Animation of spectral ODS shapes can be done by either selection in the graph area (current) or in the shape table (new)

New in BK Connect Array Analysis

Particle velocity can now be calculated and shown for SONAH measurements
In playback mode, it is now possible to export the results from all mesh points to a UFF file and Microsoft Excel in a single operation
Improvements to the spectrogram and large numerical displays

New in BK Connect Indoor Pass-by Suite

Increased support for UN R51 Addendum 50 Revision 3
Improvements to indoor pass-by setup imports, such as defining the applicable standard and addition of the trigger settings and DUT name
Added export to Excel functionality such exporting import tyre noise correction data according to the ISO362-3 standard, and exporting the test plan with analysed data directly from the measurement task
The SPC Validation sub-task will help you to the fine-tune condition number threshold before performing full pass-by SPC calculation
Indoor pass-by recording is now ‘self-contained’ with setup data included
