Electrostatic actuators are designed to simulate the pressure response of condenser microphones. Oscillating electrostatic force is exerted in front of the microphone diaphragm, providing the consequent response of the microphone. By applying an oscillating electrostatic force - sweeping over a frequency range from 100 Hz to 200 kHz - the pressure response can be tested.
Microphone Windscreen (also known as microphone windshields, acoustic windshields and mic socks) designed with specially prepared, open-pored, polyurethane foam capable of attenuating wind noise 10 to 12 dB, depending on wind speed. The windscreens effectively reduces excessive pressure on a microphone facing winds, providing the ideal measurement conditions for environmental noise logging, and all other outdoor microphone measurement tasks.
Nose cones replace the normal protection grid of the microphone, giving the least possible resistance to air flow - and thereby reducing the noice produced by the presence of the microphone itself. The fine wire mesh around the nose cone permits sound pressure transmission to the microphone diaphragm while a truncated cone behind the mesh reduce the air volume in front of the diaphragm.

HBK Microphone Holders are designed for mounting a 1/2-inch or 1/4-inch microphone or preamplifier with a tripod or an extension rod. The holders offer stable positioning and flexible locking at any angle between + 90° and –90° from the vertical position.
HBK Microphone Tripods allow for increased measurement flexibility through adjustable pan, tilt head and height settings. In addition our tripods can be supplied with CAM head, allowing both photocells and microphones to be placed with minimal effort.
