Noise Dosimeter Calibration

Calibration service for Noise Dosimeters. Brüel & Kjær provide expert, accredited calibration, traceable calibration, and instrument verification.

Accredited calibration

When a noise dose meter is used to measure results for public purposes or possible trials, calibration must be accredited. Country requirements state how often calibration must be performed. Brüel & Kjær can provide these types of accreditations for Brüel & Kjær noise dose meters:

  • DANAK (English certificate)
  • A2LA (English certificate)
  • ENAC (Spanish certificate)
  • Inmetro, Brazil (Portuguese certificate)

Initial calibration

To start the accredited calibration history from day one, we recommend that you take advantage of our accredited-calibration services when you purchase your new noise dose meter.

Re-calibration

For noise dose meters, we recommend regular calibration to provide you with an unbroken calibration history to use as a reference, either for internal requirements, or at the request of your customers.

Measurements

Measurements of noise dose meters are performed according to standards IEC 61252 and ANSI S.25.

Certificate

With our accredited certificate you receive:

  • Proof that calibration has been performed according to the quality requirements in ISO 17025
  • Measurement results as well as associated uncertainties
  • Internationally accepted certificate with the logo of the accreditation body
  • Calibration conditions: air temperature, air pressure and relative humidity

Traceable calibration
