Webinar: Strain Gauge Methods for Measuring Residual Stress

This webinar was held on:

The residual stress analysis is a very important topic in mechanical engineering, because these stresses often limit the load capacity and the safety of many components. Therefore, it’s critical to quantify the level of the residual stresses. There are several strain gage methods able to make this analysis, and some of them are very well known worldwide. This webinar will provide a brief introduction of these methods, with a particular focus on hole drilling and its application in compliance with the ASTM E837 standard.
