Advances in Finite Element based Vibration Fatigue Analysis

Fatigue life predictions can be performed in both the time domain and frequency domain. This presentation looks at a new capability in vesion 11 of nCode DesignLife to analyze fatigue damage in the frequency domain due to multiple simultaneous applied Power Spectral Density loadings. It also outlines the importance of phasing between these loads, and how it is handled by nCode DesignLife.
