MXFS BraggMETER Interrogator Module
8-connector FiberSensing module of the QuantumX family
with slow scanning rates.
For Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors and
transducers including strain, force, temperature,
acceleration, tilt or displacement.
The following applies for each optical connector:
- Max. number of channels per connector: 64;
- Selectable scanning rates at 10 S/s or 1S/s
(all channels simultaneously);
- Connector type: FC/APC.

General connections:
- 2 x Ethernet supporting PTPv2 (RJ45);
- 2 x FireWire and backplane connector;
- Voltage supply: 10...30 V DC, max. 24 W (ODU).

Includes catman Easy software license and
maintenance for 12 months.
Excludes power adapters and connecting cables,
to be ordered separately.

QuantumX MXFS SI

With the MXFS SI up to 64 Fiber Bragg Grating sensors can be defined in each of the eight optical connectors – with parallel acquisition. The new fiber optic sensing device offers, therefore, an impressive number of channels per module with simultaneous acquisition.

Your benefits are obvious: a cost reduction not only per measuring point but also for overall ownership.

Two operating modes can be selected by the user:

Normal speed mode, with 1S/s acquisition rate, and
High speed mode, with 10S/s acquisition rate
